Murray came to the audition for our second play, Westward Whoa!, dressed in a cowboy outfit, complete with guns. Needless to say, he won the part of Smiling Slade Claggett, the villain of this rootin’ tootin’ musical comedy. His face was on the “Wanted” poster.
He also played another villain/gangster in Trouble at the Tropicabana.
In While in Rome, he was Altilis, the highest senator in the Roman senator…and a real chicken.
